Hocking Valley Community Hospital is pleased to welcome our new general surgeon, Dr. Timothy D. O’Brien. Dr. O’Brien will begin seeing patients July 18th in the CIC building located at 541 SR RT 664, Logan. Dr. O’Brien obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Notre Dame and the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. O’Brien comes from Ashtabula County Medical Center where he served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center and chief of Staff. Dr. O’Brien will provide surgical services at HVCH for a broad range of medical and surgical conditions such as appendectomies, colonoscopies, gallbladder surgery, hemorroid disease and endoscopies. “In our effort to continue improving healthcare in Logan, we needed to bring an additional general surgeon to the community.
